Current Positions:

Mechanical Technician

Duties:

• Test rotating equipment and troubleshoot problems in shop and field
• Disassemble rotating equipment (Motors, Pumps Blowers, Gearboxes, etc.) to evaluate the condition of their parts
• Clean equipment/parts as needed using parts washers/steamers, sandblaster, etc.
• Replace and install parts as needed (bearings, gears, seals, impellers, power cable)
• Reassemble & test equipment for proper operation
• Operate repair and testing equipment (and other equipment as needed)
• Assist other mechanics with various duties

Requirements:

• Experience with rotating equipment including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and valves for the water and wastewater industry
• Experience with motor rebuilding & winding -- a PLUS
• Valid driver's license
• Availability for after-hours emergency response calls on a rotation basis
• Clean background check and drug test
